I finally got a Lage Max10/45 upper. Then promptly made a thread protector for it!

I like the look of the M11/9 wire stock on the SWD M11A1.. did yours come with that stock from the factory (if you know)? Some of them left the factory with those 11/9 stocks with the extra wire form loop for the armpit. It’s an improved design IMO.. doesn’t want to slip down the shoulder like the normal wire stock

Is that tall handle a tactical innovations/craig Wheatley handle?

My M11 didn't come with this stock, it had the regular one. Like you've mentioned the extra loop helps keep it planted, and I like the looks.

The charging handle was supplied by you via Gunbroker.

Ah ok it’s one of the special weapons distributors handles, made by “Daniel industries” Wayne Daniel’s son Buddy’s outfit… I thought it looked taller than the special weapons handle for some reason in the pics!

I finally got a Lage .45 upper for my MAC. I only put a few rounds through her yesterday to function check. After the winter storm passes, I will have to go out and see how it runs.

some of you may have seen this on GB, i know it’s an ad for my business so if that’s not Okay, mods feel free to remove it, but this is a new one I made recently and i thought this one came out pretty cool and wanted to share it here for the members who haven’t seen it on gonebroker. Was going for the whole Miami Vice “vaporwave” 80s thing… Special thanks to my wife for going along with my cheezy photo shoots…

The gun and accessories are all original RPB, gun is the 10th M10 carbine off the RPB assembly line, kinda cool, I think I’ve only encountered one earlier SN example so far.

Cool. Do you have a website? Seems like your wife is very supportive!

Thanks, yes she helps out. No website yet, all business is based off of gunbroker and word of mouth. We did wrap up the 2025 year as a GB top seller, in the top 500 bracket… now that we have gotten a lot busier, I have started working on a website to expand and get out from underneath GBs astronomical fees, but I’m not sure if I’m gonna follow through with the site.. the inventory I deal with is so sporadic because it’s all mostly vintage OEM parts and accessories. Since nobody manufactures the stuff anymore, it’s not easy to source any kind of consistent inventory of any one given part or accessory, so a website will entail a lot of updating and a lot of work.. the auction format works well for the old school stuff, as it’s a bit more “exclusive”, but I’m still toying around with the idea of a dotcom site. I just started working on it in the last week or so, went ahead and bought a couple domain names.. if it comes to fruition I will definitely share it with the forum.

Is your EO tech on backwards and get a Lage safety
It's a fairly cheap Sight Mark. It was a spare that was laying around when the Lage upper arrived. I like the circle dot configuration it offers. I have a VORTEX that I might try. I used an EO Tech in the Army. I'll probably get the Lage safety in the future.

Direct thread. 1/2x28
I very much disagree. I feel that the 3-lug mount is so much better especially for a fixed barrel. I have a HEMS II can for my HK Mark 23. It is threaded mounted. The factory mags are 12 rounds. No matter how tight I install the can, by the end of the 12 rounds, the can is loose. After every mag, I need to retighten the can onto the threads. Problem is, once it actually gets tight enough and cools off, there’s no way to take the can off the barrel without warming it back up.

I am fortunate enough to have a Gemtech .40 caliber MK9K and a Raptor 40. I have both a 9 mm and .40 caliber piston for each of the two 3-lug mounts. I never have to worry about the can getting cross threaded or coming loose. Some love how universal the thread on can is. I hate how easily it is to cross thread and even worse that the can, at least the one that I have can’t be threaded on a stays there. I have to retighten the can onto the threaded barrel several times as I am shooting it because of the expansion of the threads as they become warmer. Once I am done shooting, I need pull the can off while it is still hot. If I don’t, then I must run a mag or two to warm it up to to remove the can. YMMV.
