First gun I ever named... It's an HK E-K build from TSC, beautiful and fierce, now en-route to my dealer. For some reason the first pics from Mike after he finished and tested this masterpiece conjured up verses from EAP in my mind. I'll post some pics a little later.

And congrats!

Thanks! To be clear the build in question is from Mike at TSC, but I have also purchased from Mike at MM. Either way these things take time - a year or more is not uncommon.

Yes I know they are both named mike lol. Never dealt with TSC. Why did you choose them over Michaels Machines for this latest build? I have no affiliation with either other than waiting on my mm23e

And now... The Raven
(Tested and perfected with the changeable German hardware of both calibers.)

Channeling EAP here and envisioning the eventual release of this firearm from federal prison and the first shoot at my favorite desert site - all in the context of the "birdification" of my freshly built HK-E belt-fed as the Raven. Yeah, too much time on my hands, but back to work tomorrow :(. Apologies to Edgar Allan Poe (EAP)...

And the Raven, never flitting, will be sitting, will be sitting
At my dealer’s inventory ‘till released and not before.
Then uncaged, no longer bounded by the prison that surrounded
And contained this fierce and noble firearm of Teutonic lore,
It is free, this fiery sword descended of the Knights of yore,
Free, its power to explore.

Taking flight upon the mountain, eyes aflame and with the fountain
Of its throat, now spewing fire and brass upon the desert floor.
Awesome in its fierceness gleaming, belts of fifty plus still streaming;
Barrels big and small now steaming with a rage accounted for.
May this Raven, with its boldness, stay uncaged for evermore.
Free to fly and even soar!

Pure awesome. I’ve been looking at some of the HK semi SBR belt feds.. any reason you selected this particular configuration?

It was the one configuration I did not have yet - an HK E-K usable in both .308 and 5.56. It too is a sear gun, and registered as an SBR...

Closing the Loop

Finally took the Raven out to the desert and ran some belts. Absolutely met all my expectations as I painted the hillside with 5.56 sized projectiles. RPM averaged about 780. Flawless in function, it was. A frequent visitor to my favorite shooting sites it will be. Hats off to Mike and the team at TSC for an incredible build!!
