From the old thread (http://www.uzitalk.com/forums/showt...edneckengineer-quot-For-Details-Of-Your-Upper), here's the info:
I spent some time designing stuff, making stuff, then throwing away stuff.
This is my current upper design, the UltiMac.
The upper uses an internal recoil mechanism, no drilling in the rear (unless you're in to that sort of thing, I don't judge)
Will not work on SAPs, open or closed bolt.
Will not function or fire without registered lower receiver attached.
Uses AR15 bcg, barrel, and handguard.
Modular design, magwell is removable and can be replaced with:
AK47,
AK74,
AR15,
MP5,
UMP,
PPSH41,
Suomi,
Glock,
Colt,
Thompson,
M1 carbine,
Greasegun, etc.
Scorpion EVO (enough people asked, so I'm adding it)

7.62x39 in AK mags:

5.56 via AR15 mags:

Special thanks to XRayGuns and my friend Brian Butler for their help in designing this.

Belt-fed option?

This thread is just the modular upper for the M10, although I'd like to see how much interest there is in an M11 or M11a1 version.

I'll update it with pics and info of the belt fed upper as I go along, but if there's more M11 upper interest, I'll work on the M11/a1 UltiMac before the belt fed.

That looks awesome!

Will it work with a .22 LR kit of some kind?

At any rate I'm quite interested in a version in 7.62x39mm with AK mags.

Sounds good! (Also, email sent.)

Functional, aesthetically pleasing, well-priced M10/M11/M11a1 modular uppers...

This is what the market wants.

There's some info on 22 conversions on the last 2-3 pages of the old thread, but the short details are that I'll have to make a custom 22 conversion for it.
It will employ a 10/22 magwell, a S&W MP15-22 magwell, or just a standard AR15 magwell for Ciener/CMMG mags.

For around $1k I’d buy right now if an m11/9 version was available. That’s a screaming deal.

Looking forward to seeing this come to the market. So many possibilities that it's definitely going to be a game changer.

I'll keep everyone updated on the M11 and A1 uppers via this thread; I am working on the design and I'll start machining prototypes in the coming weeks.
