PM me. I might have a couple ideas. I have a few shops I regularly work with including one in particular that would be tickled to death to make parts for NFA toys. He is a one man operation and active duty NG but does great work and his shop rate is really good.

Sounds Very Promising, Wish For Total Success!

Some updates...…

Good:
-My 07/02 has given me the resources I needed to submit new products to the aft.
-I continue to search for a shop to outsource to. I have been in discussions with one shop that has produced acceptable results, although we are still haggling on price.
-I (accidently) developed an adjustable rate reducer for the Ultimac that appears to work well in initial testing.
-The M11 and m11/9 uppers are much closer to a test fire. I am working on the recoil mechanism currently.
-The M10 ultimac is solid. I have debugged and improved almost everything I can think of. I have approximately 6,000 rounds of various calibers through the final revision.

The bad:
-I have been dealing with some health issues for the last year or so that have gotten progressively worse over the last 6 months and are drastically reducing my productivity.
-Thanks to our benevolent government and their excellent money-handling skills, inflation is killing my raw material prices.

I have covid again, so there's that. :bang:bang

Updates:
I have my 07/02 and have taken in various work to try and raise money to buy the necessary equipment to make uppers on a larger scale.

I got a machine shop to give me a reasonable quote on production, but unfortunately, thanks to inflation, it's now right at the edge of what I am comfortable paying.

I have surgery upcoming to fix the issues with my hand/wrist so I can get back to actually making stuff like I was.

The ATF isn't in any hurry to approve anything, and I think everyone feels the same way about that situation so I won't bother saying anything further.

There are other issues holding up production but nothing worth discussing. Mostly just my own problems to solve.

Sorry for rant...

Update on mac stuff:

1. I am actively machining uppers for the M10. I am waiting until I have at least 25 complete uppers sitting in a pile before sales will start. I'm focusing on making AR15 and AK47 mag adapters to start. Others to follow.
2. I will be releasing solid models of the magwell bases for those of you who have 3d printers to play with. You can then print whatever magwells you want, or even have them machined. That should save some money and headache for some.
3. A lot of my income is currently from NFA repairs. That is (slowly) funding the machines I need to produce more mac parts more faster. It is also taking up most of my time so very little time for UM uppers.
4. Waivers are the only way forward, despite what many of us would like. Determination letters are not going to happen that I can see.
5. The M11/9 MP7 upper is almost done.

I had surgery on one hand, but on the other hand, I did not.
I think that made sense.
Anyway, I'm back to almost 100%. I can even shoot my own guns now without intense pain, which I have been unable to do for months now.

Delighted you are well along the road to recovery. Cash and waiver in proverbial hand when my number comes up!

I should be on the list for an M10 upper and adapted for AR15 and AK47. I am looking forward to getting mine when it’s ready.

Thanks for the update! I'm on the waiver list, glad you're healing up.

I'm most excited about getting one with an AK74 magwell!

Thank you.

It’s nice that someone is actually going to sell NEW items with a waiver. AFT stagnation is destroying innovation for transferable MG’s

I appreciate the fact that you’ll provide use with the 3D files and I’m sure there’s others that’ll feel the same.

From the first Thread

“I will add that one of the things I am doing to avoid MG-status is making the upper a open bolt design, but only when the lower is attached.
Without a M10 lower attached, the upper will not, under any circumstances, fire a round.
Attaching anything else to the upper, other than a M10 lower, will only result in the upper jamming or feeding incorrectly.
So, I guess you can call it a closed-bolt, open bolt system? =)“

I assume this is still the case?

Am I on the waiver list? I'd be happy for one with the AK adapter or AR adapter and3D models!
