I've never understood why people wouldn't use these mags. They're cheap and they work great.

I've always signed as TRE, but close enuff.
I don't want to crush the market, just expand it.
There's always going to be something better.

Enough folks have emailed me about the Suomi stuff that I thought it would be handy to mention that my magwell will work with original Suomi stick mags.
I'm sure it will work with the single feed mags as well, but double feed $20 36 round suomi mags will work fine.

Any upper that takes the best designed magazine in the history of firearms is worth having. God bless you, my dreams have been answered. (I have simple dreams)

Beta testers will start getting uppers very soon.

Got 3 more ready to machine the barrel nut threads and the pic rail, then off to test fire, then they go in the mail.
6 down, many more to go.

What caliber will the M11/9 belt fed be? Will it cost less than the Fightlite AR belt fed?

1. My intent is to make the upper modular, i.e. accept different top covers and calibers, primarily 7.62x39, 5.56, and 9mm.
It is also designed to take a topcover that employs the use of UltiMac magwells, so in that regard, it's a multi-caliber option.

2. The solid model looks good so far, but until I have one machined and tested, I won't know the exact cost. Way too early in the game to know any of that.

3. Since all the M11 and M11a1 guys have come out of the woodwork looking for an UltiMac, I've pushed the belt fed back to work on those uppers.

This thread is just the modular upper for the M10, although I'd like to see how much interest there is in an M11 or M11a1 version.

I'll update it with pics and info of the belt fed upper as I go along, but if there's more M11 upper interest, I'll work on the M11/a1 UltiMac before the belt fed.

I think you’ll find the interest in an M-11 would be HUGE! I would definitely be in for one! E-mail sent!

Just a idea may not be possible. But in the top belt fed uppers could a magwell be made to run a AK Mags upside down like a Bren?

Just thinking if you had a RPD type mechanism would be neat to be able to run stick mags with the change of a mag well.

Just a idea.

Haha I had a similar thought in mind. Perhaps you could bring the mag further rearward with that set up also.

That's exactly what I'm talking about doing.
Pull a pin, yank the belt fed top cover, put the magwell top cover on with the UltiMac magwell.....taaadaaa, BreAkMac
