They use a proprietary FA sear......regardless of what the seller says.....

Take a look at the location of the FA sear axis pin.....

The DLO box will accept any original HK parts.....and many have been converted into ambi packs.

The LaFrance box is basically a registered semi auto box with a "married" proprietary conversion sear.....the guy in the Sturm link you posted that is talking about converting them to ambi packs is really pushing it legally.....

I'm "that guy" and I didn't buy that pack. But I'm also not scared to talk to the FTB about un-screwing up things that were done back in the day.

I really want to convince them to allow us to properly convert all the HTA/Fleming guns that were done with unregistered conversion sears to real push-pin guns, but I understand the uphill battle of getting them to reverse decisions made years ago. I'm not confident enough that it can be done that I've started collecting HTA MP5s yet, but its a serious consideration.
