I'm considering replacing the stock trigger on my M11/9. Most of the time I use it with the M11/22 kit.

I'm hoping it helps with reliability of that kit and noticeably improves the trigger pull.

Comments?

Also - they offer two kits - the Select Fire ($80) and FA Only ($50). I've already removed the trip and am favoring the FA version.

Your experience?

on the FA version it loses a spring, so the pull weight is lightened up some. The trigger is wider also, so the perceived pull weight goes down as well. I would recommend one for sure

I have the FA only version and I love it. No semi trip for me either so the choice was easy.

If you don’t use the trip no need for select fire except to revert

The regular one has a shoe that feels nicer and wider.

Don’t forget to get the Lage hardened sear.

I did the FA only competition trigger. its not a huge difference, but it is a difference. its like 1 or 1.5 lbs difference.

if you never shoot Semi why not for $50

don't expect it to be like a geissele trigger on a AR is all im saying

I liked having the semi function when I first let my father, daughter, and wife shoot the gun. Shooting a few rounds in semi allowed them to know how the gun feels/functions before doing bursts and mag dumps. I have the Lage trigger that accommodates both, and it seems to be a great improvement over the factory trigger. If you are the only one shooting it, and you have no reason to shoot semi, then save the money and do full auto only...

I just put one or two rounds in the mag for... introductions, if necessary.

I do this usually w 4-5 to prevent runaway trigger holders.

It’s harder to explain open bolt. switch to an mp5 and back to macs to newbies creates confusion/ need to monitor closely.

Yes. I find the FA only trigger to be a significant upgrade. Not sure on the select fire one.
