The price is on the high side, especially since it has only one mag and no accessories. The .223 folders typically sell for $1,800 - 2,100 on GB in that condition. To contrast,
this one is in box with cleaning kit, etc. These are great rifles, but the mag issue is a hindrance for Valmet newbies. It was bad enough when Valmet .223 mags were $125 - 150. Now they routinely sell for $225 - 250 if you can find them.
Don't flame me, but I prefer the stamped M76s to a Galil. As pre-bans, Valmets are a relative bargain for their quality at current trade prices. Unless you already have a stash, it's the mags that will set you back. One more thing, there's not any great solution for mounting optics. Although accuracy with irons will keep you smiling.
