Hi,First timer here. I am waiting for the dealer, I purchased a vector uzi from, to get the form back, that the feds ok to ship to my dealer here in AZ. Question is there a time limit from the time he gets the ok to shipping time to my dealer,I heard he has 24 hrs to ship? Thanks in advance, AZ ED out.

Never heard of a time limit for a dealer to ship after getting back an approved form. Most dealers will ship same day or next day.
Time takes on a whole new meaning in the NFA world.
How long have you been waiting?
If he (your dealer)hasn't received the gun yet from another dealer..... you still have to wait for the transfer "to you" to be approved.
You've got a while, sit back and put your feet up. Theres no telling when it will be approved.

There is a very small window. ATF will, as a rule, say "1 day". They've told me the same on the phone. There is a small amount of leeway. If he's out of town etc. If he's just procrastinating and just so happens to get caught in possession of it by a surprise ATF inspection, he better have a good lawyer. Karl.

I don't think they would press the issue unless a complaint had been filed. A few days is not unreasonable, even longer if there were circumstances justifying a delay.
Most field agents have a clue as to how busy or not certain dealers are and what time schedule they run their order shipping on. All my guns have been shipped same day or next upon receipt of forms from ATF. But I deal with an exceptionally good dealer.
Agreed, simple procrastination is not an acceptable answer.
