Pick up what looks like a brand new FA UZI pistol. Need to get a stock maybe a sling log on it.
I seen a bolt stock kit available. Any gunsmith I could trust to redo a backplate on it?
Could use some of your wisdom
Thank you

That's the bolt-on kit I was taking about. Just wondering how sturdy they are probably not as good as replacing the rear plate

I wouldn't go the aftermarket stock route on a transferable full auto.
Do it right.
There is a stock and hinge on GB right now. Pricy though at 800.00.
I have sent at least a half dozen Micros to Andrewski and the work on all of them was top shelf.

Andrew, sounds like you offer many gunsmithing services that would be interesting to the members here. You should create a thread with photos of some of the work you've done so members get a better feel for your business.

I just started the first transfer so it will take some time till i have it in hand. Plenty of time to find parts. Any pictures of John Andrewski’s micro Uzi conversations?

Is this his website?

What’s a fair price for a factory stock?

That would be great. I haven't seen any photos of UZI work you've done.
Ok yes I have made a post I just tried again and remembered my pictures are too large in file size and will not upload. Not sure how to fix this, but my work is on Instagram
@ak.arms
And I can email or text anyone that’s interested pictures of all my work. Rewelds, mini builds, micro builds, the parts I manufacture, etc

I bought one a couple of months ago for 315.00 and then 250.00 for the hinge kit from Vector, so 565.00 all in. Even at 800.00 its a minor expense when compared to a 30-40k SMG. Sights, cocking handle and the front sling swivel are the hard items to find stand alone. If you can find a complete kit with all of the the correct Micro bits and pieces, it's really the way to go. Ask me how I know!:ROFLMAO: I have in the past, bought complete kits just to get one or two of the parts I was lacking. For me, searching and finding parts is half the fun!!

If you don't have a copy of Dave's book, I suggest getting one. All the details are there.
PM me your email and I'll send you some photos of Andrewski's work.

Is your Micro an RR or bolt gun?
Best,
Bill

Micro kit came form Apex. Looks to be in good mechanical shape. Seems like it seen good amount of PD / millinery use. Bolt looks to be FA but the lower is SA and doesn’t go into the third position.
If anyone has any leads I am still looking for a hinge.

I am a satisfied customer of Andrew/AK Arms. He got a malfunctioning Vector .22 kit running nicely in my SMG.
