TWO RIVERS ARMS Israeli Galil build (With real IMI receiver)

Started out life as a Apex kit. The parts were a bit beat up but coming from Guatemala it doesn't surprise me. The barrel is a Virgin chrome lined 1-12 twist IMI barrel. The receiver on this makes it really special. It's a real deal IMI made Galil receiver. What I gather is they were going to be used for a project that never panned out by Mossberg in the early to mid 90's. Less than 500 of these receivers exist in the US and the last one sold for 1800.00 on GB a few years back.

It's an AR model. The stock was a little loose from usage so Tim at TRA added a bit of weld to tighten the stock which was pretty common with these. The barrel which was bought from Blackthorne has a bit of cosmetic pitting from storage but inside a mirror bore.
I think Ill call her Roni (sing, shout for joy in Israeli)

So it looks like you found a new builder; please give details on this; as it will help out a lot of people trying to get builds.

Jeff has been asking me for quite awhile to see if other people can do these builds and take the pressure off of him.

Still didn't answer the question; How much for the build / How much for the coating? / What kind of coating? / How long did it take? Details!

The build was around 560.00 I sent it in Feb and had it back first week of MAY......Granted I made a trip down there so it was ready when I got there. The coating they use varies. They can Blue or paint. The paint they use is a high temp paint which comes out really nice when it's done. They are running a backlog of 3 months right now if you sent it in now. They can do engraving etc etc.

They can do the Israeli markings for a GALIL etc. And I am sure they can do the same for South Africa etc etc. TIM, Shawn, & BO are really masters at what they do. Their bread & butter is YUGO pattern AK's but they do amazing work all around. If you need a reweld done TIM is the man when it comes to this.

The main thing is details. Explain exactly what you want and how you want it done.
