Stark80 offered me one of their CNC striker single side striker housings for testing. That was super cool. They are aware of what we're doing here.

There are a few manufacturers like tandemkross and volquartson that make upgraded extractors. They help. I've never had a problem getting fired cases out of my mark II after demonstrating the technique. Most people think that will break their thumb for some reason.

If your cases are sticking you either have a really tight chamber or maybe it's rough and needs polishing?
I've always figured the failure to extract after holding the 10/22 rifle bolt closed was due to the greater chamber pressure generated by having a full 18.5 in. barrel expanded the cartridge case more than a pistol length barrel would, especially when the bolt is held closed. I haven't had any issues with normal operation, and the chamber is okay. The cost for upgraded extractors (or any other parts for that matter) aren't worth it to me. The 10/22 is a plinker. The rifle I generally use for rifle .22LR silencer shooting is a lever action with dual, opposing extractors.
MHO, YMMV, etc.

Well, glad someone is.
I'm not sure I'm aware of what we are doing here.
Last I checked a bunch of us were turning money into noise real fast, causing a smile that can't be wiped off with a brick.

I'd say that's a worth while endeavor. Entertainment is recession proof. People will starve before giving up entertainment.

Has anyone noticed a lot of lead build up in their barrels? I gave mine a good looking at after the last range session and there was a build up of lead that I have never seen. It was almost all near the muzzle. I tried a bore brush. It got some out but seemed to peter out so I have it running with one of those electric bore cleaners. I have been getting far more lead out of the barrel then I have ever seen. I've probably taken a full 40 grain bullet's worth of lead out and it's still running. I have about 2000 rounds of cheap copper plated ammo (Winchester, Aguilla, Remington golden) through it so far and never ran a suppressor.

Has anyone seen this?

I just cleaned out the barrel and took a good look down it with a magnifying lens. In the area where the leading was really thick there are some bad tooling chatter marks on the lands. Looks like I got a bad barrel. Not that it makes much of a difference since I'm not shooting this with an FRT and expecting small group sizes. I guess it's more of a thing to keep an eye on so that it doesn't lead to more serious problems. Anyone else have a wonky bore?

Has anyone tried this one versus the FFT, way cheaper?

Redacted Industries TRX22?

Mine is $20 less with free shipping.

Heck mine has less wear than OEM disconnectors.

I don't know about the other FRTs but Strobro's runs flawlessly and after some initial striker housing wear I'm not seeing any more. Get his.

I bought several to give to friends. Good friends.

Mine (from 701Boomstick) should be here tomorrow & I'll report back.
Mine finally arrived today.

Looks pretty good. Had to file some rough spots (striker safety pocket & the striker stop), but overall it seems solid.

There is more side to side play of the striker than with the OEM. Not sure how that will affect things?

Unfortunately it's only 1oz so may not be heavy enough for suppressor use.

Both mine work with the addition of the 701 and a can. I am using an old AAC c0-pilot for now but likely will switch to a specter or old SRT can that I have.

My new TX22 has about 3X less movement. My 7K+ round TX22 has about the same movement as the new one. As long as it functions, everything is honky dory.

That's good to know, thanks.

Does your striker have this much side to side play?

I also got the 701 Boomsticks stainless inserts and they have the same striker side play as yours. They work pretty well though I sometimes have have a failure of the slide to fully close on a round. That hadn’t happened with the plastic inserts.

Keep an eye on the back plate. Mine goes on harder than with the plastic striker housing. When I initially was testing it, I had to really force it up in the slide pocket. If it's even slightly too low, the slide won't close.

Thanks for the heads up on the back plate tho that isn’t the problem. Something’s not quite right because the slide increasingly fails to close and I’m now getting a lot of light primer strikes as well. I keep everything well lubed so that’s not the problem. I’m pulling the stainless inserts and will carefully compare them to the oem plastic ones. Will then reinstall the plastic inserts and go from there to troubleshoot.
