Alright guys, so I'm looking at mounting optics on my Umarex/Walther .22LR Uzi and wasn't sure if the mounts listed in the "Optics" section on the homepage would fit. I know the dimensions should be pretty close but if anyone owns both the Umarex version and a IMI/Vector or alike, could you check and see if they are interchangeable? I believe shadeone probably has one but I figured I'd make this a separate thread just in case anyone else has tried these mounting options out. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks guys.

Pictures are of course welcome!

I'm not sure, but I don't think so. From what I've seen, the .22 is pretty much stand alone. I would suggest finding someplace that has the optics you're interested in and check.

If this is the Non IMI or Vector Uzi, the ones that are made in 22 only, no. I make them for the full size real Uzi's and have looked at the Ultramax or whatever it is called. The interior is different than the "real" uzi. What I have found is the metal cover on the 22 is not thick enough to tap and drill. Putting screws in as I do from the bottom up, then grinding them down a bit works for the "real" uzi but not enough room on the 22 as the bolt rides against the top cover. If it is a Norinco, IMI or Vector, yes, I have those in stock, look at Gunbroker, under "Uzi scope mount".

This is mine with an ACOG clone. I have had to shim the front of the scope to get enough depression but works like a dream.

Still the original set up. Legally I can only lose 2" off the barrel in the UK, so I'm still looking for the shortest 'forward of muzzle' moderator I can find.
