Underpowered ammo for m11/9 suppressor use?

I've been having a blast with a new late '86 m11/9 that I recently got. I've mainly been using it with a slower firing Lage max11k upper. I'd like to use it suppressed, but I'm worried about tempting fate on battering the rear welds. Does anyone else who reloads, significantly down load their 9mm ammo for suppressed use to barely cycling for this purpose?

I load 147gr with long shot if i want lower power I just load 135gr bullets they still run in the sub guns just slow them down a bit.

I have a SK upper that's dedicated for suppressed use. It has a CFW a bolt and has an Octane 9 attached via 3 lug. I usually run 3.5gr of N320 behind 147s for most other guns. This runs fine on 3.2gr and might even run on 3.0gr. Barely cycling risks a runaway so don't get too crazy with the reduced load and leave some buffer for when it gets dirty, account for load variance, etc.

I’ve shot a lot of 115 grain SUBS out of my M11/9 suppressed.
I posted a video awhile ago of it. I’ll try to find a link and post it here.

My gun works great with under powered 9mm reloads. I don’t make a lot; therefore, I try to stretch my reloading components as much as I can, while still being safe to shoot.
I haven’t reloaded in a long time though due to primers being not available or extremely costly.

If you get a tungsten CFW Gen2 or 2A, the bolt will never touch the buffer no matter what. That’s even better than the Lage uppers. Slow speed and less wear. Also since the bolt never hits the end of travel the recoil impulse is reduced. The muzzle isn’t pitched sharply upwards. You can fire one handed and keep all on paper if you practice.

Thanks for the tips. As it's all I can get right now in round nose, I'm going to try Berry's 115gr thick plated heads. It's worked well with 5.5 grains of Alliant power pistol, at around 1100fps. According to Hornady's manual, 4.8gr is the lowest they recommend at around 1000 fps.

As awesome as that would be, I think finding one or having it not be > $1000 is probably asking too much at this point.

Video with 115gr Subs.

I personally prefer the shorter A bolt over the earlier models. Frankly, its home is in my M11 and not my M11/9. The A bolt is dang near perfection with 380 ammo.
