The last Galatz I saw on GB was in my neck of the woods in Iowa about 2 years ago. All original also it was around 10K on price. You know I always wonder when someone trys to build value on a gun that is "unfired". Technically all guns are test fired at the factory so how can a gun be really "unfired"? That one always makes me think.

"Unfired" is generally accepted as unfired except the factory... Which is generally very few anyways.
I photographed a Galil Sniper this last week in Estonia. Basically, the Estonian purchase price was $3200 back in the day.

Well, back in the day (1989); the price for these in the states was 3,999.00; which threw a lot of people off.
Especially for something that was unknown at the time.
Only 28 made it to the states, with 10 going to the marines in Quantico / 2 going to the secret service at their training facility in Louisiana.
They actually ended up not selling all of them; since the ban kicked in that year.
The Galatz is unfired and pretty much untouched. The original owner bought it directly from R.S.R wholesale back in the 80's a few months before the ban. He bought the only 2 they had in stock at the time and sold the other one a while back. The rifle came with 10 25rd mags 8 of which are N.I.B., a parts kit and some cool 80's literature, a brochure which actually shows the Galatz next to the Hadar 2. When he bought the rifle, the V.P. from Action Arms told him that he had never had a chance to see one and that there was around 50 in the country.

Were you the one who purchased the rifle linked above?
I had an idea of who it might be judging by the account name, but he hasn't come forth yet like I thought he would.
