Numrich has a bolt for sale, the description is as follows:

Bolt, 9mm & .41AE, Stripped
IMI | UZI MODEL B CARBINE
SKU: 527840

So I purchased the bolt.

I'm confused, this bolt is a model B which all model B are semiautomatic not SMG. The bolt is made just like the semiautomatic with the strike guide or firing pin carrier.
:bang
When I received the bolt it doesn't have any grove for the bolt blocker. So what is going on here?? Now I am stuck with a problem?

Yes that is correct, it should have the groove in the bolt, since it is described as a B bolt.

Does it have the F/A ridge or ring on the bolt face?

The bolt is set up for the firing pin on the carrier, a closed bolt, with no blocker. I talked to Numrich and they are looking into finding out the solution as it states a "B" bolt made by IMI. This is really getting to be a issue, I've been able to use the IMI parts for everything except for the receiver middle. The carrier assembly is IMI, now the bolt is the hiccup.

I guess Numrich has nothing to help me resolve the issue.

I have detailed photographs of IMI "B" semi auto bolt for a example, and this matches up exactly on all six side's except for the bolt blocker.

I can mill a groove in the bolt to pass the bolt blocker in the receiver, sand blast the bolt and it will look just like a IMI bolt with the groove in it.

Are you referring to the Blocking latch groove under the bolt?

I'm getting closer to the finish line. I do like the distressed look, the UZI was made to be a down and dirty firearm not some pansy on the shelf.

I've decided to send back the bolt to Numrich, it's out of spec.:bang

At least I've got the bolt blocker into the receiver finally. It was out of order in so many places that it took time to locate one. :bang

Building a UZI and asking for help is like having a fugly daughter, no one wants to help find a solution to your problem. :bang

Interesting, I have two people who are wanting to purchase the bolt, however I am not getting any real help finding out about the bolt. Yes I know that I don't have photos, however I'm interested in if IMI made a "b" bolt without a bolt blocker.

Photos would really help...

The model B was a semi auto carbine. IMI would not have made a bolt for this gun without a slot cut for the blocking bar.

Numrich said that it was for a B bolt, I have the link to the bolt.

After measuring the bolt, this is what I have come up with.

The ejector slot in the bolt is shallow, causing the bolt to lift up.
The bolt rides on the barrel causing the bolt to lift up. The barrel is sitting on the feed ramp, so something is not right.
The magazines jams the bolt when inserted, and the magazines are IMI.
When I removed the barrel, trigger housing and move it forward the cover will not snap on. The cover is exactly correct for the builder, I measured everything to make sure it's correct, the bolt recoil buffer fits exactly in the receiver so I know the receiver is perfect, besides how could anyone screw up a SMG ejector on a UZI. The SMG trigger guard is also exact, and that would be hard to screw up also.

I think I have a retarded bolt. I could correct all of these problems, except Numrich said that it was a IMI bolt. So is Numrich full of s**t and it's some China junk?
