Hi all,

IWI has Uzi Pro extractors in stock at the moment. Comes with other parts for the Uzi Pro as well but extractors are interchangeable with the full-size Uzi. These have been OOS for a while.

usbarrelshrouds has there .45acp ones for $39. Little grinding on the extractor back hump and it will work in 9mm

Curious, do all these parts work in a regular semi UZI? They all look like they would except that long spring which doesn't look like it'll fit in the regular striker.

When you get yours will you comment if they will work in FA guns? The claw clipped on one side? Thank you.

Yeah, of course. They shipped it already so should know soon. From what was posted on the uzi subreddit, these will work in semi and FA.
I was reading David Gaboury's book and it says on page 89 that the Uzi Pro extractor is glock-style extractor, which differs from the original extractor.

I got mine today, they sure were lite on the semi cut. I think anyone who needs an FA extractor these would work just fine. I don't see how these would work that well for semi without a little metal removal.

I got mine, and it looks like almost everything would fit in a mini closed bolt assembly with the notable exception of the firing pin.

Has anyone tried turning the firing pin to work in a mini UZI? Would it even be possible?

It's been a long time but when I had my full auto Micro, I would use the same striker assembly for both my Micro and my closed bolt Mini configuration. I'm not that familiar with the pro but assumed the FP's would be the same. I guess not?

Instead of using a clip to hold the FP into the striker assembly, the pro uses a keyhole shape instead of a round hole and the firing pin is shaped differently back there to fit.

Yeah they are identical except how they lock into the striker, you can simply turn down the large diameter on the pro pin and grove in the C clip notch and your set.

I will note that the Pro FP is slightly shorter by .02" from the front of the nose to the back where the pin stops on the back of the bolt so if there are any light strikes the face of the bolt stop face will need to be thinned.

Yup, that's what I was thinking, though I hadn't pulled out my calipers to make the measurements. That length might become an issue.
So, has anyone tried this?

That would be a good question for amphibian
As mentioned above, not that familiar with the Pro. All I know is that the barrel and barrel nut is interchangeable with the Uzi Pistol and Micro
