Is anyone still making the adapters for Uzi mags so they will work in CZ Scorpions?

Thanks.

Scorpion mags have gotten so cheap and Uzi mags have gotten so expensive that I don't see anyone motivated to do that.

I like metal mags, the stick mag look, and the lesser capacity for certain things. The curved Magpuls are like a bloody monopod. 35 round mags are really only for competitions, magdumps and posers. :) if you can't get it done in 20 - 25 rounds you really need more range time.

If literally $7.00 difference in Mag price is going to break you then you're in the wrong Hobby. ;)

Went back in my IMs some 5 years ago, and it was a poster called @medphys ...he was patenting them at the time

The baffling concept of people trying to tell me I don't want what I want. Lol nah bro I'm good I know what I want. :)20260311_082545.jpg

100% ^^^ reliable , btw. And useful in all platforms that use the Evo mags ( numerous).

I don't think anyone was telling you that you shouldn't want it. I was merely describing how (for most people) the equation is simply one of cost. And as such, if the Scorpion mags are affordable in comparison to the Uzi mags, most people would not bother.

I too like straight mags such as Uzi mags, and I agree that Uzi mags are resilient, reliable and should be used in everything. I am still torn with myself over my CMMG Banshee, which I originally intended to use with Uzi mags, but went with the Endomag conversion Pmags. At that time (2018) when the Banshee was newly on the market, they were not designed for use with Uzi mags and required a bit of customization to work with them. The Endomag solution was cheaper, and I went that route. Today, Uzi mag solutions for the Banshee exist and far more effectively and cheaply than 8 years ago,...so I'm considering converting over. Although the long and gentle feed chute of the Endomags makes feeding hollowpoints and SWCs no problemo, and I've gotten kinda attached to that feature.

garandman, I have to agree with atfsux. His response did not seem in any way derogatory and was just pointing out additional information that you may not have considered.

Your response, though, did come off a bit snarky.

Remember, tone is hard to convey on line. I find it helpful to ASSUME good intentions from others, especially our friends/fellow members here on UziTalk.

Thank you for your consideration and attention.

Magpul mag - $ 20

IWI Uzi - $ 27.

For 7 bux more, I'll pick a steel mag, every time.

Neither ever actually answered my question.

Both gave their unsolicited opinions about what I want to buy. The one response is in fact wrong .... Uzi mags are $7 more than the Magpul, for a steel vs a plastic mag. Cost is Hardly a significant factor in choosing one over the other.

Whats the proper reaction to ppl doing that? What " tone" should I hear from ppl that dont answer my question, but instead give their negative opinions? And wrong info, at that. I assume when I ask a very specific, direct question, I am ok to expect actual answers.

When tone is hard to detect, why are you characterizing my tone as snarky, rather than pointing out their replies are non-responsive and off topic to a very specific, succint, direct question as to an items availability but instead giving their opinions as to its advisability?

Kindly see above where I mention the forum (former?) member I got them from. I was actually field testing for him, at the time. But he kinda disappeared, so I asked ( here) if there was any other source.

I too went with Endomags for the buffer tubed Banshee and the folder Dissent.

Ive gone Evo mags everywhere I can, cuz the Endos *are* a bit pricey. Even to the point of paying $400 more for lowers that take Evos. E.g., B&T GHM9, etc.

A single mag platform is nice, whenever possible.

Lingle used to make a colt mag lower for the Stribog. The colt mags use a higher placed magazine notch and better suited for this.

Lingle now makes an Evo mag lower for the Stribog. Works great. Im guessing thats why @medphys was using Uzi mags in his Evo adapter. His adapter worked great. Id love to get a few more.

garandman,

I'd encourage you to own your stuff and not point out others 'problems.' It isn't always an easy task, but it has made me a better man.

I agree that the Uzi Pro mags are wonderful for the CZ Scorpion.

Does the next gen Scorpion utilize the same mag design?

I have the files for the original "permanent" mag adapter version and an untested removable version and am happy to do a run of them.

Give me some time to look at current printing options as I no longer have a modern/quality printer.

And if others are interested, please PM me so I can gage interest.

Thanx. Didnt know if you were still here. No rush.

Stribog, B&T GHM9 ( via Lingle aftermarket lowers) and Daniel Defense have adopted the Evo3 mag platform. Hoping others will too.
