Hi guys, hopping on here to ask for some help. I have an Uzi Pro that I got in used condition, and it's got issues. Mags lock in fine, and rounds chamber properly. But when the trigger is pulled - nothing. Light primer strikes seem to be all I get. Was wondering if a firing pin issue is the cause, or if it's something to do with the barrel, or something else entirely. Uzi's are not something I'm very knowledgeable about. I'll attach a few pics of the bolt assembly.

Can you measure the amount of protrusion from the bolt face to the tip of the FP?

Is the FP channel clear? Does the FP move freely? I am assuming semi auto. If so, does the hammer spring feel weak? Does the.hammer.make.good square contact with the FP?

Got a photo of a struck casing?

Deerhurst has good points;
Looks like you might not have much firing pin protrusion. Is the firing pin clean and free of gunk?
Same with the firing pin bore through the bolt. A drill bit the right size and turned by hand, NOT run in a drill motor will act like a reamer; cleaning out any deposits without removing any metal.

How easy does it cock? With the short bolt travel inside the receiver body, the recoil and striker springs need to be pretty stiff.
