Just use your semi bolt to line it up when welding it up tot he side of the receiver through the holes.

The only legal way to attach the blocking bar is to weld it or use hi temp solder. No other option is legal according to ATF.

There we go again, someone who comes up with some B.S. information. The ATF is not a issue with my UZI builder, everyone enjoys their 2 cents worth, do you honestly think ATF is going door to door checking UZI builders.

This is why we don't go out of our way to help people like yourself. You don't want to give us the needed information to help you because you are trying to do things that are clearly not legal. You want to blame everyone else for your work and lack of knowledge. We try to share our knowledge and you tell us we don't know what we are talking about.

Before you open your mouth you should look to see who is giving you advice, which you didn't. I know more about repairing and building Uzis than 99% of the people. Numerous times I have gotten call from ATF or people who ATF has told to call me about what is legal and what is not or how to solve problems with Uzis.

Have fun with your build.

Richard, those of us who understand the work you do greatly appreciate your feedback here. Bad apples like this guy aren't worth your time. Based on his evasive and defensive replies, it's likely that he hasn't met the ATF requirements on the gun he built, which is why he reacted so strongly to your post.

I'm not evasive, I have a legal UZI, I asked for a size and get information I didn't ask. The problem is most people are unable to do things on their own because they are strictly followers and can't fabricate something. The UZI bolt block is legal, the receiver cannot be used for a fully automatic bolt, it's impossible the way I built it. The parts are SMG, except for the bolt which is semiautomatic, however they are 100% legal.

Unlike the lower 48 people, I am a individual who questions authority, I read everything about a firearm before I build it. I don't cower in the corner, I stand up and fight. I have a armory of 50 long guns, (the handguns are another subject) all legal in my state.

I have nothing to hide, my ATF agent can play with all of my firearms anytime and he will not have any issues with them, they are legal in my state. I don't live in a Nazi state, I live in a free state where firearms are plenty, and everyone has one.
