Alright, I've been shooting the heck outta my new SA Uzi. With max power loads the folding metal stock tends to bite my cheek bone. So if I keep shooting it like I have been I'm going to need a fixed wooden stock, unless possibly I'm holding the rifle wrong? I really like the way the folder looks, but I like functionality as well as comfort better.
Will I need any thing special to put a fixed stock on my Uzi?
Am I doing something wrong in the first place, causing the stock to bite me? Thanks.

I think most people find the wood stock more comfortable than the folder. No special tools needed to swap stocks. You'll need a hex wrench to get the folder off. They use some sort of thread sealant on the bolt so it's hard to break free. The wood stock just requires a screwdriver.

Face pain from floding stock

Another option is to place a check pad on the stock. This will prevent you from fully folding/storing the stock, but this is far cheaper than a wood or plastic stock, and the pad can be removed easily, held on by velcro straps.

Look-up International Training Concepts, if they are still in business (or not on deployment - owner/operator is a former SEAL).

I use a piece of black foam pipe insulation. Costs about 50 cents. Try it before spending the big bucks.

I have a fixed open folder on my SA UZI since I live in MI and folding stock UZIs are considered SBRs here. I cut a piece of leather and laced it on over the stock. Makes a nice cheek piece. One could do the same thing with a piece of ballistic nylon material. I leave mine on but one could use snaps or just a couple of ties for easy removal.

I can post a picture if interested.
