uzi Thread Adapters

i would like to know if the Thread Adapter(from http://www.trosusa.com/Adapters/Adapters.htm) substitute the original nut barrel ?

No, they adapt either a MAC thread or a 1/2x28 thread so you can use an Uzi silencer on other firearms.

they do make adapters that thread on to replace your barrel nut....just be warned if you have a GI (like me) that it may not fix (like mine didnt)

its a slick way to thread a suppressor onto a uzi
