Hey Gents. I have the barrel tri lug adapters (thread on). So I can use normal barrel nuts if needed.

I'm going to Rocksett it on. Just curious if there is a source for Uzi barrel nuts that are compatible with a tri lug adapter.

If not, no big deal. No had an extra barrel threaded and have an extra barrel nut that can stay with that barrel assembly if required.

I've seen Uzi barrel nuts that have had their inner diameter opened up to pass over the 3-lug tip. But when I saw how much they cost, I decided to pass on getting one. I got a regular nut dedicated to the 3-lug barrel and simply Red Loctited the tip in place. It works good enough for me.

That is my current plan except I'm not going to use Loctite. I happened to see a picture of a tri lug barrel nut, here in fact! Curses!

Mind telling me how much it costs? The Rocksett option is looking way more cost effective. Way more.

Got a Dremel tool and some grinding stones? A tri lug Uzi bbl nut only costs the same as a standard one and the time it takes to grind three notches into it.

I cut my own, also have a BBL with BBL nut on it permanently. Whatever works.

Check with Mark McWillis at TROS. He's working on a 3-lug Mini barrel for me right now, and he has them.

I've got the tri-lug on my full size SBR with the nut - it's fine but I wouldn't do it again. Can't use most barrel nut setups with it - bit of a pain. Did it because of my HKs and suppressor setups but much prefer barrel nut attachment on the Uzi. Matt

I contacted BWE. It's only $15 more than a normal nut. It's just milled out larger. Fits great, got it yesterday.
