Ask member FUATOS, he has'm time to time.
I can tell you for sure that the last FNC parts went in the shredder in Belgium and FN is not making any in 20 years.
Keep what you can get, and double it. In 10 years they are worth goldprice...
Check the pricelist from 2005, a burstkit costed 150$, there is one now on gunbroker @482$

My 2 cents.

Price on nos factory firing pins?
Firingpins.com has single-piece firing pins available in stainless ($25) and titanium ($35). I've had one of the factory FN two-piece firing pins break, so I use the FP.com solid ones now. So I'd say price/value of factory firing pins is $0 ?.

+1 for the ones made by Firingpins.com

I also had an original FNC FP break and bought 1 each of the SS and Ti. The tip of the Ti one broke/punctured the primer at about 800 rds. No harm to the FN. Switched to the SS and haven't looked back.

I too switched over to the one-piece SS and couldn’t be happier.

I once asked Curtis Higgins if the titanium was worth the money… he smirked and told me something akin to it being pointless for the FNC.

I encourage everyone to support Chris from firing pins.com and buy a few of these. He made these at a time when firing pins were not available anywhere for the FNC.

I picked up a few of the SS ones from FP.com at his shop. Chris is a super nice guy, a real machinist with a real nice machine shop.

He’s still in business. Just ran a new batch of FNC pins and sent me a shipping confirmation yesterday for two that I ordered.

If Firingpins is still around, he's advertising titanium pins for $35.00! I just found it last week and was going to order, but not that I see the mention of the tip breaking after 800 rounds, hmm.

Definitely wouldn’t recommend the titanium. Mine mangled a couple of them after way fewer than 800 rounds.

I stick with original parts in my FNC's.
(As long as there are originals left)

So far, i do not see them break often, so with 1 spare original, you are just fine.
My 2 cents

My thoughts - someone went to the trouble of making firing pins for a gun that isn’t all that common. Buy some! Like buy some right now! And buy some originals too. I think I have some ridiculous number of firing pins- at least 10 to 15. I just like looking at them knowing I will never need to buy another. How many is too many? I don’t know, but 2 is 1 and 1 is none.
