Back on Aug 4th, 2017 my Vector Mini Uzi front sight pop out and the cocking handle broke loose trying to clear it. I was very surprised to see this happen during a a shooting session. Especially, since this was the only uzi in my collection that I purchased from a manufacture rather than build myself.

Anyway, I contacted Vector about the weapon warranty and requested the parts. I got an email four days later from Bob who said they were in the middle of a move. Then Aug 24th checked and he said they weren't moved yet. Then checked Sept 29th and Oct 31, Cale responded and asked about my address and he would ask his tech about the parts. Feb 11th, 2018 I emailed again about the parts and received a response from Cale who said he sent the parts, but would send again. I informed them on Feb 28, Mar 21 and April 5th that I had still not received the parts.

In all, I would not recommend Vector arms to anyone if they expected a warranty to be honored. If they can't send out two little parts (font sight spring washer, cocking knob screw) how could you expect them to fix anything major. Could I have replied them myself.....yes, but it is the principle of having a company honor a warranty.

Has anyone else had issues with Vector?

WOW, I was just trying to find something in UziTalk but didn't. Didn't think to try a google search. Apparently I am a drop in the ocean on this issue. Guess I will never deal with or recommend Vector again.

In the spirit of this thread, I figured I’d share my experience with Vector ongoing.

I purchased a Vector Mini carbine late last year new from a seller on GunBroker. It arrived with a misaligned rear sight between the ears. I posted a thread here on the forums and heard horror stories about Vector service, so I sat on it till a few weeks ago, where I decided to “enter the rabbit hole” of Vector. I emailed and called with no response; up till last week, where I got a response from Benjamin at Vector, who said to send it in and they would repair it.

So, I boxed it up, wrote a description of my issue per his instructions, and sent it out. That’s where this story ends for now, as they should receive it tomorrow. I will update on progress, but my suspicion is it’s going to be a long wait.

June 1; I just received my Mini Uzi back from Vector- they fixed my canted rear sight. The gun looks different, the coloring changed, but the serial number is the same. They kept my 25rd magazine I forgot to remove when I sent it ☹️. So, 2 weeks. Not bad. It would have been nice knowing it was en-route; it just showed up via UPS, but it’s back and quickly.

They kept your mag.

Well, there goes another $18 out the window to buy another to replace it with.
