Back on Aug 4th, 2017 my Vector Mini Uzi front sight pop out and the cocking handle broke loose trying to clear it. I was very surprised to see this happen during a a shooting session. Especially, since this was the only uzi in my collection that I purchased from a manufacture rather than build myself.
Anyway, I contacted Vector about the weapon warranty and requested the parts. I got an email four days later from Bob who said they were in the middle of a move. Then Aug 24th checked and he said they weren't moved yet. Then checked Sept 29th and Oct 31, Cale responded and asked about my address and he would ask his tech about the parts. Feb 11th, 2018 I emailed again about the parts and received a response from Cale who said he sent the parts, but would send again. I informed them on Feb 28, Mar 21 and April 5th that I had still not received the parts.
In all, I would not recommend Vector arms to anyone if they expected a warranty to be honored. If they can't send out two little parts (font sight spring washer, cocking knob screw) how could you expect them to fix anything major. Could I have replied them myself.....yes, but it is the principle of having a company honor a warranty.
Has anyone else had issues with Vector?
