I am wondering if anyone out there has used the Vector Drum in a Vector Mini successfully?

I recently purchased a new Vector Mini and a new Vector Drum and the drum simply will not feed! I suspect that the Mini is just to fast for the drum but Vector says that it should work. They want me to send it back for testing or replacement.

If anyone out there is successfully using a drum with the mini, I would sure like to hear about it.

Thanks!

Possibly need the mainspring in the drum

tightened a bit to feed more forcefully at the higher rate of fire.

My drums feed using the semi buffer cut for maximum rate of fire with reliable bolt lockup.

Does your drum even get a couple of rounds off when shooting or is it completely non functional?

I might get 2 or 3 rounds out, or maybe just 1. It just depends. The drum seats well and the main spring seems quite tight - of course I have nothing to compare it with...... I have the semi-feed ramp installed by Vector so I had hoped that it would help but apparently doesn't do anything to help.....

I have IMI MINI and C&S drum and it works fine.
I HAD a Vector drum and it wouldn't run and I sent it back.
I'm sure Vector would have gotten it right eventually but I figured I didn't use my C&S that much anyway and decided to stick with what works.
