I have moved this thread here to keep it alive. For the record, Vegas SMG's hat may look funny, but it beats the hell out of the sunburn my bald head suffered at the 2004 shoot.

For those just joining the hat saga:

tax_monster was selling some parts, and a Simpson's Chess Set was visible in one of the photos. Vegas SMG inquired as to the price for the Simpson's Chess Set.

OK, nobody likes this hat or cares about the long and storied history behind it so how about it's destruction with photo documentation going to the highest bidder? I'll offer to take it out and shoot it, I mean REALLY blast this thing into little bits, then blow it up using binary explosives and maybe burn whatever we can find after that.

Yeah !!! Plenty of photos going to the high bidder to document it's total and complete destruction. All proceeds going directly to the UZI Talk board and I'm supplying the ammo! Anyone interested in "buying" the destruction of the hat? Let's start the bidding at $10.00.

I'm delighted to hear that the board is in good financial shape and I hope it stays that way. I know you didn't ask for the cash infusion, but I thought it might be a good way to stay ahead and keep a little money in the bank for future needs.
