I hope they allow the Super Safeties for PCC. I want to use a 5" barrel 45 Banshee with SS. It really smacks the steel.

FRT and binary are good to go..but you will be in SMG division. Actually Full auto is a handicap for this match.

It's a good thing the SS is 3 position. The AR trigger is better than any open bolt trigger I've tried and HK guns.

I put 2K through my Versa 12 this week. It felt good to use the 20+ Suomi stick mags I bought for Richards DF Max upper and the BRP U9 I had for a while.

Back to the G18 mags and lower. I'd to experiment with a spare the Max-31K main spring unless Richard thinks that's a bad idea. It fits without over compressing the spring and seems to have a bit more force at the bolt closed position.

It will work, but watch out for runaways with weak ammo.

Another 429 rounds with the G17 magwell using the Max-31K spring.

Max-31K spring in the Versa 12 has a ROF of 612 RPM. No runaways. I'm going back to V12 OEM Lage spring.

I have the same CZ mag upper as the OP except it's the paddle release version and I'm having the same exact issues. If I down load the mags to about twenty five rounds it runs perfect. Best mags in my experience are the PSA versions and the Magpul. The factory CZ mags I have were the worst. Using 147 round nose ammo from several manufacturers.

I was reading this morning that Scorpion mags have a history of failing to feed in Scorpion SMGs and CZ recommends down loading about 5 rounds in the mag.

I was watching my video again and it was failing even on a locked back bolt and first shot, which tends to agree that the bolt can't overcome the force of stripping a round out of the magazine.

Make sure after inserting the magazine that you tug down on it, otherwise the bolt can hit the top of the magazine feed lip and jam. There is about .030" of play between where the mag catch engages the magazine and the mag stop prevents further upward travel. Not all aftermarket EVO Scorpion magazines are alike. From my experience, the MagPul mag's sit the highest.

So funny. I repeated this about 3X today to my wife and son who were having a blast shooting the 9" AR22 SS. I am worried that I made the same mistake while testing the Versa 12 Scorpion module. I should order another to make sure.

At least I got to sit there in the shade and watch them blasting steel at 25' and having fun. My son (13) shot the 45 Banshee SS today and loved it. We took a quick break for my wife to put in plugs + muffs while rooting him on. 95 degrees here and we were happy to get back to AC of the car. It was a good day, we got to use our AK (auto karma.) Ice Cubes in the afternoon.

Wife confirms, "Fun times!"

Matt, How's TX treating you? Are you all settled in? I need to make a trip down to see my TX homies at some point.

I'm in N. GA now. Chris kept canceling the matches as long as was in TX. Boy has TX changed in the last 20 years.
;)
We really love it here in Appalachia.
