Thanks Vegas, I do appreciate it.

Im going to put these up for $200 shipped for the lot, and in the meantime see about taking the tabs off. I think I would be better off leaving it up to the next owner though since I don't know anyone with a good enough reputation to try.

No, I didn't miss that, but according to the 2nd half of your one sentence statement, you make it very clear you don't know what they're actually worth either. "...not sure about tec-9 walther mags."

I don't know what they are "actually" worth, and neither do you. They are worth what someone is willing to pay. Magazines for different guns have different prices... they are all a square box of metal with a spring... I mentioned they aren't cheap, but I don't know about tec-9 mags so its not my place to throw out prices and value when I have no clue -- they could be super rare for tec-9s, but I don't know.

Not to beat a dead horse, but not all mags are equal. The cheapo Suomi mags are beautiful and in the same class as HK MP5 and Sterling mags.

I guess you missed this then: "brand new walther mags aren't cheap..."

Energizer is correct, dont sell them short. they ARE modded for a kg-9 at the factory.
I remember clearly buying 5 boxes of 5 walther mags to feed my mac-10/9's
they had a military part number and said:
m10-9 magazines
9mm para
5 each
mil part number
when you opened the box they were in plastic inside the plastic was cosmo paper and the mags were seperated by cardboard: heres some pic of mine:

Awesome looking collection, BTW.
How do you get that coloring into the lettering on your weapon?

I keep all my mags accessories and firearm from scraping against each other by correct storage in safe and range bags and I use a silicon wipe rag on them about once every few weeks. not even my safe queens get left out.

As for the lettering, my wife does this as we are a shooting family or rather were until I had my last real bad heart attack.

she uses a crayon just a standard crayon in this instance white. she is right here I will let her explain it.
HOW TO COLOR LETTERING AND LOGOS ON YOUR FIRE ARM
1. Rub the crayon over the lettering/logo
2. Rub excess crayon off with a soft cloth (This may remove the crayon from parts of the lettering/logo)
3. Repeat steps 1 & 2 until the lettering/logo is how you want it.
4. Spray some Reim-oil on a rag and rub the excess crayon off around the lettering/logo.
when completed it stays put and does not fade for well over a year even on you cwp gun that gets cleaned alot. it stands up to the solvent well I redo our sidearms about once a year. hope that was of use. BTW the effect is dramatic on black or rich blued firearms and certainly in our opinion enhances the beauty
It is that simple, (at least for me. My husband has a difficult time and I usually have to fix the firearm.) THAT was my wife linz guys, yes I know I am lucky!
anyway we are new to the forum a BIG hello to everyone.
Best Regards Dave & Linz

Welcome to the forum, and thanks for the lettering tips. I've got a M11/9 that I'll give the lettering a try on this weekend!
I think it looks cool...
