What do you think about the IMI 32rd CDNN heavily parkerized magazines?

Hi,

I am new here. I got a couple of the CDNN 32rd new Uzi mags and they appear to be high quality. Are they real IMI or subcontractor mags? I was thinking of buying a few more since they are relatively cheap for new magazines but wanted to make sure they weren't somehow bad. They are heavily parkerized so I don't have anything to compare them to. They just have a single number on the back like 24.

Also are the IWI new mags thought of as pretty good? Buds has good prices with free shipping and I thought I'd order a few. Any issues with the different followers that are in the IWI mags with a full size Uzi?

Thanks for that! I have a few parts kits and a pack of 5 of those mags. They are super nice. Im just really OCD about the springs in used mags so thought about stocking up on the CDNN mags since they are new springs. Everything from RTG has been really nice for the price.

I have more than a couple of dozen of these also. Seems like many shops got/get lots of these German mags. I've had to clean them all up but they were all new and in perfect condition once I used a little elbow grease on them.

Wow $12 each for unissued mags is cheap, I ordered some, thanks for the link! 10k mag lots available, how many do they have? One minute Germany is going to invade Russia with Uzis, the next they surplus them all?!

That's odd. Mine were from a different batch perhaps as they were good to go when I received them.

I just got in 12 mags from KeepShooting. All 12 are used, about the same condition as the RTG mags Ive gotten, probably the RTG mags are a little less used. The KeepShooting, RTG, and CDNN mags all look the same, same random numbers on the back as the only markings, the CDNN ones are the only ones Ive gotten that are even close to being new. They could be used ones heavily parked to make look new but I think they actually are new.

Nothing wrong with used mags, Im just ocd about the springs in used mags.

Palmetto State has them in stock from time to time for $11.95 and it's from the same German stash the other vendors are probably drawing from. I got maybe 20-30 of them and they were all lightly used and in my mind just about like new.

I imagine at some point that stash will run dry and the party will be over and prices will move upwards.

My KeepShooting are pretty far from new, my RTG are quite a bit newer. A lot of my 25rd RTG look almost new. Probably they sell the nicer ones first so that when they get rarer, the more used ones will still seem appealing at the same price. Most companies probably got the huge numbers of used mags for cheap and CDNN paid a premium for the few still new mags.

My experience also. It took more than a little work to get them in what I would consider good condition.

Just actually reading the OP from start to finish, if these mags are heavily parked and don't have IMI stamped in the back under the number, chances are they are re-parked IMI produced for Germany army service/surplus mags. My understanding is that the commercial mags IMI produced had IMI stamped in the back under the number and were mostly painted. The lack of IMI under the numbers would be indicative of mil production/surplus re-parked.

Anyhow, the last two 5 packs of "excellent condition" mags from RTG have been in poor-fair condition. Lots of rust, mags I'd imagine would be included in their "50 pack with rust" package.
