Honestly, Uzis have been my favorite weapons in video games and I think that's where it all originates for me. But I did get an Uzi toy quite early in my life and I loved it so that might have been it as well.

Way freakin' too close to the city....especially n
can't wait to shoot it the only thing is its been unfired and do i shoot or just keep it unfired it sure does look pretty.

Bought a NIB Model A 10 years ago to replace the Model B that I bought new but sold it in a moment of confusion in the latter Clinton years. The Model A sat for two years because "it was unfired and I didn't want to ruin it after all the years"!! Well, one day I realized it was a gun and was meant to be fired and I did so until I picked up a nice Model B to use on range trips. I'm most likely going to sell the Model A to pay for the new equipment in my new garage but really hate to. I figure I don't have the funds in retirement to keep all my toys. It's a sad thought!

Hey guys, I always just liked the history behind them. All the old merc movies from the 80s with uzis being used are always great. I always loved the fact that everyone from Germany to Rhodesia used em too. Great guns! God bless America!

My Yugo SKS kept jamming on me. I took it to my local gun repair man to fix it. (you cant fix a jamming Yugo SKS). He asked me what I was doing that was making it jam up. I told him I just wanted to dump rounds out of it as fast as possible. He said as he handed an Uzi to me "What you need is an Uzi". Classic, I had never seen one before but I raised the cash and bought it.

Yoni.

I have a micro parts kit that has the semi lower and the stock wrapped in the foam and black electrical tape like you mention.
The tape is so old it has started to degrade and is sticky and gooey.
THe foam and tape are about 1.5 to 2 inches thick.

Supposedly according to the ad these came right out of the IDF police force.
I kinda believe the ad due to the wear on the kit.
Most parts kit's I've been able to build and leave the original finish to keep a bit of the history.
This kit has no finish anywhere the gun would rub, in one instance where the stock hinge is there is metal wore away.
And other spots as well indicating this was Def. a daily carry and used weapon.

I'm going to have to introduce the "WILD GEESE" to the wife.
I haven't seen it since I was in my teens.

About anything with a UZI in it gets my thumbs up!

I did my first drive-by when I was 8 with a single barrel shotgun, I realized from then on- it wasn't enough and I wasn't feeling cool at the same time.

No, seriously. Almost Every damn 80's movie had an Uzi in it so I was "in the market" for a long time until I got ahold of one.

Good to know a little history on the gun here is a pic of it.

As you can see it's seen a lot of duty.
I tore the tape off the other day and it has a mini uzi stock on it.
The tape was black electrical tape then duct tape then the foam all rotting and sticky due to age.

It is a true micro uzi it has the sling swivels and the bayonet lug and is marked MICRO UZI on the rear left side on the receiver.

Once I get a repair section for the micro and build it up I will have the UZI triangle :)
All semi automatic though :(

SO not only did the heros of the 80's get me into UZIs they got me into them bad LOL

2007 was a great income year, wanted to buy a MG. Did some research and stumbled across this site. Was sold on UZI. Found one a decent price at the time...nine months and it came home. 2008, came first suppressor. Then a 9/40 conversion, then 22 conversion. Two suppressors later (30 cal for 300 BO and 22 for 22/45) and still having NFA fun!

New member here- I had always liked UZI's, thought they were cool. I remember playing and enjoying a arcade game called Operation Wolf back when I was younger. This was as close that I could get to handling one when I was younger. Finally picked up one- and found this site!
