Used to be for sale all over the place. Now it’s slim pickings and prices have jumped about a grand this last year alone. Are the pallets of M11s gone or people just hanging on to them lately?
They are no longer a "bullet hose". They are a really practical and fun gun with all the aftermarket uppers. The M11 is the easiest and cheapest entry into a rifle caliber.
Sorry to get sidetracked OP, I think most folks are hanging on to them. As others have pointed out, the new uppers have made this platform one that can really do well in subgun matches. I would think that the prices will continue to rise based upon this.
I don't understand what's happening with the machine gun market right now at all. There's a Jersey Arms M10 Avenger in GB right now listed for 15. That's more than twice what I paid for a Powder Springs one in early '19
I still see them listed all the time in the Midwest tactical email (last email had about 8 macs). I’m sure there still out there. And I know Ruben likely has them just doesn’t list them because they move so fast. I’m betting if you look around you’ll find them… trending in the 8,500-9500 range from the big name guys
This horse has been beat to death, shrinking machine gun pool, more people with money
Just like land prices, finite amount with expanding buyers, only one place the market will go
More guys realized how fun — and valuable — they are. Soon, I wholly expect that any stock M11/9s, A1s and M10s available for under $10k will be considered good deals.
Here's a link to a recent M11/9 sale with vintage suppressor on Gunbroker - still not at the $10K mark, but closing in: https://www.gunbroker.com/item/913357144
They are still out there. I picked up an unfired M11/9 and a used Fleming .22 kit for $8,500 with the seller paying all fees back in September. Seems like fixed income retirement and post Covid financial hardships are getting them out of the safes and onto the market, at least here in Tucson. There is usually at least one or two for sale all the time on Sturm.
There are a few on Gunspot with high prices or “make offer” requests. The M11 is going to be high for a while because it’s really the only one that has a viable centerfire conversion, among other valuable modifications.
