What is this barrel?

I've this barrel inside of what looks like an Uzi .45 cal conversion kit. My father in law has a partial SMG conversion by Fleming Firearms. It appears to have the semi restrictor ring still in place, but it will access full-auto bolts. There are two barrels in this kit one threaded one not. The threaded barrel doesn't make sense to me at all. It doesn't look like the barrel nut will fit over that "cone" thing to lock it into the gun. Sorry, I don't have access to these to fiddle with. Hopeing someone can tell based on pics alone.

So does the suppressor hold the barrel in? I can't see how as it would have to time with threads on the gun and also the end of the barrel at the same time. Or maybe there's a part missing that holds the barrel onto the gun.

There was some odd suppressor that had a uzi bbl nut built into it.
Somebody posted about one recently.
Maybe that one used some modified bbl nut.

Some of the Gurus here should reconize it in time

I would think it is just a thread adapter that needs to be unscrewed, then you put your standard barrel nut on there and screw the adapter back on.
