I'm using a Trijicon RX 1x42, from my AK on my M-10/.45! I would like to buy the Trijicon RX 1x24 for the weapon, but it is hard to justify when I don't use the open bolt semi that often.

I have a Holosun 503C on my mac and love it. Has the 2moa dot and a 65moa circle.....cause lets be honest, I'm not looking to be dead nuts with my mac :p

I also like that it has auto wake and auto shutoff....AND has a solor panel on top. I treat it like iron sights. No fiddling around, just take the gun out and shoot then put the gun back in the safe.

I'm using a cheap Tasco (aka Trashco) red dot site. It's held zero for about 8 years. I can see the dot in the full sunshine and I don't lose sight of it when firing full auto. It's precise enough to hit a 4" target from about 25-40 yards away.

You can see it in use here:

Holy crap. Someone actually put a sight on a can...

That's one way to ensure that any POI due to the suppressor is accounted for. That said, I wonder what happens when the suppressor-to-rail-to-sight interface conducts the heat into the sight mechanical apparatus, chemical adherents, and electronics.

Yeah. 9s don't get quite as hot as 556, but jeez I've had to wait a long while to take a 556 off the rifle....Could melt a lot of plastic parts and electronics.

Folks spend thousands on a transferable... and then cheap out on optics. LOL!

Aimpoint micro.

I only paid $750 for mine in 1989. I'm not putting a freakin aimpoint or eotech that costs more than the damm gun on it. I got a $40 chinese BSA that's going on the new upper when it arrives.

I've got a TRS-25 on my recently acquired Mk1 Max-11, the co-witness seems spot on, and a Site-Mark on the dedicated .22 upper. I've been running a Docter on my slow-fire upper.

The Docter has been around the longest, and It's been mounted for at least 50K rounds fired on various rifles, pistols and sub-guns ranging from .458 WM to .22's and rates of fire from single shot to 2600RPM, and it hasn't missed a beat yet.
