I know a lot of folks use suppressors on their m11/9 's and I was wondering which are the most popular and attachment methods I.E. threaded on or 3 lug barrels . Mine will be in jail for awhile and is currently in a stock configuration .

Mine is a threaded barrel.

Though it's an M10, not that it really matters.

I already have an AAC Ti-Rant in .45 and I plan to use that one. I only recently bought my M-11/9 as well as two different Lage uppers (and .22 kit) so I've only been using my buddy's lower a couple times while I wait the year for paperwork to go through. I haven't gotten to suppressor or rimfire testing yet. So, anyway, I'm already set up for the threaded barrel on the Lage uppers, and will just stick with that.

My Max-11 lage upper has a 3 lug barrel, I'm building a stock m11/9 upper that uses the ilwt 8 3/8" barrel with an AR free float hand guard, It currently is 1/2 x 28 threads but I ordered the ilwt 3 lug adapter. My stock upper is 3/4 x 10 and my suppressor, silencerco hybrid, can't attach to it. Probably buy an ilwt 3 lug barrel for it when they're available.

My M10(still in jail) is only 7/8 x 9 threads. I may have a barrel threaded 5/8 x 24 and use my 30 cal direct thread mount but not sure, I'm thinking about a coastal mims 45 with mac adapters. That way I can shoot cast lead and 22 lr through it.

The Hybrid works great and I use it on almost every gun I own. The only dislike I have is it doesn't come apart so no lead through it.

Threaded kinda sucks on f/a. They get very hot very fast and are very difficult to unscrew. 3 lug is still a challenge to get off when hot. I always forget an oven mitt.

If 380 or 9mm the best is HK3-lug. Never unscrews. Hands stay off the hot potato.

If 45 you're stuck with threads both old school or modern. Then it comes down to having a good suppressor cover to protect your hand from the heat.

I have a Bowers Vers 9s and I have adaptors for: 1/2 -24 threads, original M11/-9 threads, Uzi barrel nut, and 3 lug. I have a 3 lug barrel on 3 of may Lage uppers, so that's what I prefer to use.

Bowers Vers 9s....love it and they are great people.
3 lug all the things!
I got tired of worrying about the can coming unscrewed after long bursts. And then its too hot to want to touch and worry about.

I use a Form 1 homebuilt stainless 9" with K baffles. I cut 1/2" x 28 threads on the end of my barrel and direct thread it.

AWC MK9 with 1/2-36 threads for both my Mac 11 and Max 31. It's a large old school can but works great.

My m11 is still in jail next to the Wolf 9 SD that will be attached via 3 lug. Can't wait for that combo.

Bower vers9

Depends on the upper sometimes stock threads and sometimes 3 lugs. Can’t go wrong.

As said above, 3lug is best if you are 9mm. I have a Bower Vers9s and it is wonderful. However, I find that I mainly use the Omega 9k, really like the smaller size and sound suppression is very good (although not as good as the bowers).

That’s me and my suppressed set up. Direct thread with a custom bowers-esque clone that is user serviceable and all titanium. I also have a smaller stainless form 1 can that I like. But with my powdercoat lead ammo, direct thread is a must and I can’t have aluminum suppressor parts with the level of lead suppressor cleaning required

Bowers Vers9s, and unfortunately it's unusable on the Max-11 mk1 even with internal and external gas blocks. Too much gas in the face when shooting. I'm not sure how other people have such good luck with it. So I now run the Bowers on my 300 blackout which works great, and just shoot the Max-11 unsuppressed.
