Well, since I already own an M16.. You can't go wrong with the 240 or 249.

Id have to go with the MK 153 SMAW (Shoulder fired Multipurpose Assault Weapon) 83.5mm rocket launcher. I know its not an mg but you could convert the spotting rifle to fire full auto beside its really fun to shoot

None !
If I could only keep one gun, I would rather sell them all and use the money to bid on the 22 yr old virgin............:roflmao :lol

Nah seriously, just one gun isn't enough, you should keep at least one rifle, one shotgun and one pistol or revolver.

Sten MkII

My Sten Mk II is my first NFA item. I just got it in July. I could have gotten others, but my reasons below tell you why.

1. Simple to fix. NO expensive ALUMINUM receiver to egg out and go TITS UP. All steel.

2.Spare parts out the ASS. Barrels are $40.00 newly made.

3. Simple to clean. Wipe off bolt with oily rag.....thats it.

4. Simple to reload for. One caliber, 9mm is just fine. No expensive conversions to waste your money on. All that money could/should go to bullets, powder, primers. I cast my own bullets which makes it even cheaper. Casting a 1,000 125 grn 9mm bullets is easy.

5. Magazines are cheap. Magazines run $8.00 new (shop around) used ones are $3 to $4.

6. Simply simple.

I cant remember if I wrote anything on this post or not and quite frankly I am too lazy to go back and check. I do know I voted though. :thumbs_up

however if I only had one choice and I could pick only one it would be the,
M60M16AK47RUGERAC556KUZIMAC10 gun. That is a sweet gun. LOL :)

Nah... I guess if I had to choose just one it would be the Pig (M60). Its just a classic. "Git some.... git some"

Hey! I know the guy that designed that gun. :eyespop

M60' and M16 are brothers.. born to a Russion father (AK) and their American Mother (fondly known as AC). They also have a distant little cousin, in Israel, named Mac. :thinking :confused :lol

I carried an M60 for almost 3 years...
Cool if you're gonna take it someplace, sit it down and shoot.

Strap on your ammo and grab one.

THEN WALK,RUN,JUMP and DIVE to your range :D

Well, I've been in this game for a LONG time, since 1981 actually, so being honest I have everything on the list there, multiples of some of them even, and much more. Not being sassy, just being honest.

Being that is the case it takes something VERY interesting to make me raise an eyebrow now, mostly the truly rare and technically interesting items. Given that's the case I would have to vote for a couple items that I have had the luck and good fortune to actually examine in person but are so rare as to be off the radar of most people.

1. Russian ShKas 7.62mm aircraft machinegun.

2. Hungarian Gebauer GKM 8mm aircraft machinegun.

3. MG-151
