Do a google on recon ordnance. Get a hold of Jerry prasser. He is the only guy with mags that I know of.

Be prepared to tinker. I think he's getting to the bottom of the pile. He also thinks people that own m11/9's are "fucking idiots". So ask him about beta c drums while your on the phone.. On that note, who asked him what graphite is??

The only metal mags worth buying are the PAM2 converted ones. The only two companies that sell them are USMachinegun and Recon Ordinance. Both are out of stock right now due to the run on guns. They have to convert each mag individually, so they will have more available in the future. I'd call Jerry at Recon Ordinance and get on his wait list.

I purchased the US Machinegun mags simply because they are ready to go when ya get them - the US Machinegun mags cost a bit more, but the Recon Ordnance mags require a bit of tweaking.

LOL, I also don't like giving my money to someone that thinks I'm a "fucking idiot".

This review from my friend and noted author/expert on the M1A/m14, "Different". Don't buy.

Mega mags for the Ruger Mini 14/Mini 30... Junk.
http://www.perfectunion.com/vb/ruger-mini-14-mini-30/69109-warning-mini-30-mega-mags.html

I know some anxious guys will jump on these mags and probably be very sorry they wasted their money. I live in Las Vegas and I only bet on a sure thing. This board is an excellent source of information with some very knowledgeable members. With all due respect... I'd ask first before I started spending thirty bucks a crack on metal magazines no one here has heard about. The MAC family of full auto guns run fast and require a proper magazine with the correct bullet presentation angle and feed lips that won't bend, spread and hold their shape. That and a magazine that locks in the mag well at the proper height.

I look forward to the reviews from all the buyers of this magazine.

I didn't look to see what he's advertising, but that's somewhat "normal" pricing if they are narrow-well (RPB type) .380 mags. But for SWD-sized (like M11A1 and M11/9 zytel sized magwell) then that's "crazy price" compared to metal mags from Recon Ord and US Machinegun.

Of course, if a high-cap mag ban goes into place, it'll seem less crazy in the future.
