Will AK .223 mags work with Galil?

My 7.62x39 mags seems to lock in no problem. Would .223 AK mags feed reliably in Galils? I believe Promag, etc make them.

Not sure about Promag, but Bulgarian ones will with some filing on the feed lip and rear lockin tab.

The problem is that Galil steel mags fit Saiga 223's perfectly, but not the other way around!

galils have a bullet guide/feed ramp and the galil mag angle is therefore closer to horizontal. an ak mag that angles the round more or less upward and into the chamber should work, seen many a norinco 84s mag adapted to Valmets back in the day. Should work in a galil, just bypassing the feedramp, so to speak.

Can you make a Beryl plastic 5.56mm magazine work in the Galil??

Beryl magazines are plentiful and cheap in Europe.
