Well, to be honest, I didn't drive down there JUST to deliver some parts. There was a machinegun shoot going on within driving distance from my house, so I wasn't going to pass it up.

Aren, it was a pleasure meeting you and I'm glad we got the Mini going. Even when I was back away from the line, I could hear the Mini UZI buzz saw distinctly above all the other fire going on the line. The Mini UZI is always a crowd pleaser at a shoot.

Good to see Pesticidal and his son there too. I took a lot of photos for the library and I'll post some members photos here shortly. (I'm still out of town and this dial-up is going to kill me!)

Pesticidal's son rocking with an AK47:

Heh. He's a skinny little kid, and the guy kept telling him; "Lean forward! Lean forward!" After he got done shooting, my son said there wasn't enough recoil to push him back...

That AMD was fun to shoot, but the metal stock left an impression. :D

Photos from last weekend's Minnesota shoot are now in the library here. This shoot always has a good variety of machineguns to see and to rent. I think the most interesting thing there was the Czech VZ37. The 1919A4 with the 12" barrel was also an attention getter. Rental prices are pretty reasonable so it's a great place to try before you buy.

Awesome pics RoverDave. Is that vintage WWII duct tape holding that tank together? ;)

Could be. The thing was running pretty rough. One of the tracks was very loose and was ungodly loud. You'd swear the thing was going to throw a track any second.
