Aloha all,

Just a quick one to share a couple of nearly completed clones. Both are Apex ARM kits built on CNC-W receivers, engraving and gunsmithing accomplished hear in Las Vegas. All the real work was done by the team at MK3 Firearms, the FCG (ALG's AKT-UL) and the easy bits were installed my buddy & I. Three ARM clones are being built, these being the first two, we proof & test fired them today. Both ran slicker than whale $hit with zero hiccups. They'll be back at MK3 to get parked & cerakote (finished in the original application as described on this forum). I'll probably end up distressing mine a little. No real big issues receiver wise, though each required fitting & fine tuning in different areas, all barrels installed and headspaced with little work... We ended up using the second offering of Apex (European produced) barrels with all three rifles.

Big mahalo for all the help & good gouge this forum provides!

A'Hui hou & Happy New Year all!

Nice.
hows the groups?

Aloha Tenngalil,

No idea sadly, we simply test fired them to be sure they functioned without issue initially. A few days latter we took them out again, and again just plinked with them. I can say they did hit our steel silhouette quite consistently (at 75yds maybe), but didn't shoot for groups.

The rifles are pretty much done now, may be some cerakoting still to be knocked out, so I should have it back in my hands soon. Will let you know how accurate it shoots once my rifle arrives on island.

A'Hui hou,

OldEcho
