The 500 S&W is more than enough recoil for me. No need to build a 50BMG pistol. But at least now we know it can be done. I bet he never posts the accuracy results for a 5 shot group.

While I admire the skill and engineering that went into this, I think it makes the statement that just because you can, doesn't mean you should.
On the other hand, the only way to make it funnier is to actually put sights on it. The velocity has to be straight garbage.
I think that is is the exact opposite of the wellrod, while still being a bolt action pistol.
