It must be a Filipino thang. There were somephotos posted on THR awhile back (which I can't find now) showing Filipino insurgents with M16s and BARs and the like, and all of them had "franken-mags."

REPLY: I saw in the pic above of the philapino sqauting down with the bandana on. I have never seen a mag that curves the way that it does it must hold 50rds? I have a 120rd Norinco Drum for mine

I'm going to guess that it holds 60rds. The pic Cookie posted looks like a 50rd mag to me.
