Has anyone tried the apparently new 147 grain flat nose CCI Blazer Brass 9mm ammo in their Uzi SMG using a suppressor? If so, did the round stay subsonic? How did it feed? I am interested in this stuff because it’s the same price as 115 grain CCI Blazer Brass at some of the online ammo vendors ($170 per 1,000 rounds shipped). That price is far more reasonable than the 158 grain fiocchi or prvi partisan ammo, which i know is subsonic and functions well with suppressors.

Thanks very much in advance for any help you can give.

I don't have a SMG, but Nodak and McKay setups with BWE IMI Spec SBR Barrel - this ammo performs the best of all flat point ammo. Not 100.00% reliable, but the fewest jams of all flat points I have tried. It does stay subsonic out of 8.5-10.25 inch barrels.

Chipster:

Are you using a smg feed ramp or semi feed ramp? Supposedly the semi feed ramps are more forgiving in terms of feeding flat/hollow points.

I suppose it is gun by gun, I bought a box just to try it and it works great through my pre-vector Group w/ Bowers can. Ran another 100 rounds through this weekend perfectly.
