I found nearly all IMI UZI semi parts and now am thinking of using the McKay (already welded) receiver to assemble. I can't find much on-line on the McKay receiver. Good to go or not?

I know people are putting together semi UZI kits, but I never see any sales of any completed.

I just built one. Welds were nice. Fit and function was perfect. I don’t have a lot of experience with uzi’s but I would recommend the McKay

The McKay Uzi receivers are excellent, never heard anything negative about them.

I used an McKay receiver on my build and I've had zero issue with it. All the welds were nice. Everything lined up and fit well. The gun ran like a sewing machine from the start with no tweaks necessary.
