Zmag Speed Loader

I am trying to use the ETS Rifle Speed loader and the lips on the Zmag are too close to "force" the rounds in the magazine. I looked and the plastic magazines have lips at .350 and the lips on the Zmag are .314. Can the feed lips on the Zmag be adjusted at all? Thanks for any help!!

I think that loader is mainly for double feed mags. For the Zmags I use a Uplula loader.

I've got the 30 and 50 round Z Mags for my M11a1 with the large magwell. The Uplula loader works great for loading these mags.

I also have some of the Z Mags with the coffin mag catch on them to run in my Lage MAX-31a MK 2 in place of my coffin mags and Soumi drums. As far as I have discovered, only the Shockwave loader works for loading these mags because the Uplula isn't large enough to pass over the coffin mage catch on the back of the mag.

People have done a tone of work to finally have a reliable magazine, do not mess with the feed lip geometry as, ironically, that was the problem with the oem mags.

Don’t forget to “tune” your Zmags to your gun. Sometimes the feed lips rub on the bolt and cause problems. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4XQNOPv31Bg

No. It works for Glock mags.

You can use a MagLula or similar. But he wants to use the ETS which is very fast on Glock mags. Can load 15 in 5-6 seconds

The zmags just don’t fit. I think you could modify it to work but then risk glocks and others not working.
