    PAWS ZX7 Mag Question

    Hello all
Have a very early Paws zx7 45 acp sub gun
it uses modified m3 mags which i have none thats modified
m3 unmodified grease gun mags are tight and stay in and work flawlessly.
but i would like to have some that lock in.
    But they dont lock in
    any ideas anyone?
    Thanks

If you can see where the mag catch sits on a magazine in the gun, you could file a notch into your mag to interface with it. If you have been using the unmodified ones for a while (and they are tight), there might already be a mark from the mag catch scraping the metal as you put the mag in. That would make locating the notch much easier!

The Uzi magazine was based off of one used in the berretta mab38, IIRC. So rather than buy $90+ original magazines for that, some folks cut a notch in the spine of Uzi mags and they work just fine.

IF, you know that PAWS used the M3 Grease Gun Base Magazines, .45 ACP! You just need to look at one and compare what they did to use it. You have the Dimple Mag Stop. Feed Lips. Mag Catch area!

Side View. You can see the Dimple Stop on the right and Mag Catch on the Left.
