It looks so similar but I am not sure if its a dead ringer for a M11 or m11a1?

Suomi mag would have an obvious tab, but I know some guns use a suomi mag without tabs so possibly? More pics needed.

Is it blocked/shimmed inside the stick mag portion of the drum to make it a single feed? If so, it might be Mac.
That stick mag portion looks to be double feed in the feed lips.
Do you have a Mac mag? If so, I'd compare.
Some more pictures of the back side (with mag catch location) might help too.

I've got a couple project drum mags with the stick mag portion welded. I've been meaning to pick up some dummy rounds and work on getting them up and running...

The tower looks too short to fit an M11/9. Double feed, maybe something like a S&W 76, but don’t those have the big mag catch like a Suomi stick mag? Tec-9 maybe? But I don’t know anyone who would go to the trouble with one of those.

I just use live rounds instead of dummies. They work as well, if a little heavier.

yeah, but those rounds won't be fired..........that's the purpose of using dummy rounds.....so the last few live rounds in the feed tower gets pushed up to be chambered and fired

Yes, I understand that. My comment was that they still work.

Looks M76 Smith to me....... maybe M10 9mm...... it's obviously based on a Suomi / m45 .....and that ain't gonna fit in an m11 or Uzi magwell

take some pics showing the side and rear.....maybe some dimensions.

There has been a guy on arf.com looking for an M76 drum for at least a year......if that's what you have, you might be able to make out......

Actually, Suomi stick mags fit into the mag well of a Mac 11/Nine beautifully...provided the "tabs" are ground off the back. This was why I loved the Max-11 DF.
