    virgin Wilson Sten Tube

What other options are there for a transferable virgin Wilson Sten Tube*beside a Sten/Sterling, MP40 or a Lancaster?

Would this compatible with a Swedish K parts kit?

You're not making an MP-40 or Swedish K out of a Sten tube..... Sten, "Stenling", or Lanchester is about it.....

Thanks for the link. Not around here much anymore so I missed that one. Saw a really nice owen parts kit that went 8,000 and got me thinking if it was possible for a swedish k. The way the ad read seemed like you could choose which tube gun you wanted.

If IIRC (and I may not), there was a Class 3 shop approx 50 miles away that built a bastardized Grease Gun on a Sten Tube in the 90s. However, as he had 07/02, he could have been able to do things that we "normals" can't.
If my memory is incorrect, maybe he simply used a Sten, converted it to .45, moved the Magwell? I remember it had a side folding stock, but those were/are available for Stens.
He is a Vietnam Vet, and most of his builds were of 1950s-1970s guns.

Wonder if a MP3008 is possible? It’s basically a sten with a normal magazine orientation

If it a Mk ,2 ,3 or 5.....you can kinda cheat

    MK 1 & 4...good luck..

There are guns "sterling" that qualify and may be others...not schooled on all the possibilities. Because of the MK ? whatever #

Just cuz the tube fits don't make it legit..Stupid huh

I'm sure there are some examples out there..... If you could find a MK 2 Swedish K...you would have a fair chance @ making it happen...I don't know of any that had a " MK 2"
or any other prefix...but perhaps there was.
Just had this convo with my dealer Aussie dude.
Yes He has a Nice Owen I fingerd.

I believe yes as I saw one of these for sale about 2 years ago. It was built on a sten tube with all original German parts.

Completely different ID / OD, and location of every port/slot......

Bill Shillig made a few transferrable Owen receivers pre-86 ....... haven't seen one in at least 25-30 years ......and then only 1.... He had registered the bare tubes .....you had to send him your saw cut receiver remnants for him to salvage / attach....

At the time, Armex and "The Dealer Warehouse" were selling saw cut Owen kits for 175.00 .....200.00 if you wanted one with the solid butt .

Will it work as an M134 Minigun receiver? I've been looking for an under $20K option to add a minigun to my collection.
