I just had to tell some one

I just got the dB and fps back from Matt Smith writer for SAR
and he is the guy that holds the suppressor contest

Now days you must have a indepindent dB test done
Because any one could just say their suppressor quieter then any one else

The suppressor is my M169 (DRY)suppressed M16 9mm upper

This is a bleed off system so you can shoot "CHEAP" 115 gn or 125 gn 9mm ammo

Plus NO blow back gases in your face and eyes

enough about the upper

With Winchester 115gn was 130 dBs thats about a 28dB reduction and at 1044fps

With Black Hills 124gn was 131dBs at 994fps

Most suppressor need to use Special K 147gn ammo that is doing less the 900fps (not sure but I think 875fps) to get their best dBs
30dB reduction

I'm like the rest of you guy I like hearing (not hearing)the suppressor over dB test but in todays market its a must
