Picked up my first suppressor yesterday, a Coastal .223 can. A five month wait for an out of state purchase and transfers. It was installed on a 10/22 and fired with subsonic ammo. This thing is quiet, the sound of the rifles action and the bullets impact are the loudest noises and when the bolt is held to prevent its movement, the hammer can be heard hitting the firing pin!!!
The varmints in my neighborhood just got another problem to deal with....
